CAPA’s Pakistan Birthday Picnic on August 23, 2014 in the Alum Creek State Park, Delaware, Ohio was a blast. It was a day full of BBQ, foods, cakes, desserts, games, cricket, candies, and all the family fun in the park on a picture perfect day. DJ Kamran Khan played national anthems of Pakistan and USA. All those present stood in respect. Noora team played a friendly cricket mach of tennis ball cricket with the Dharna team. Dharna team batted first and set a target of 39 runs in six overs. Noora team achieved the target with 5 balls to spare.
Picnic Project Manager Tariq Qureshi and his team of Amir Hanif, Amjed Qamar, Farooq Wirk, & Rashid Mahmud, with the support of Kausar Waheed, Dr. Raheela Khawaja, Tariq Mahmood, Dilshad Tariq, Shamim Aqil, Dr. Fozia Tariq, Dr. Hafza Hanif, Tayyab Naeem, Aqil Khan and Dr. Huma Mahmood made it a very successful picnic. FORMAT: Family sitting, Community Potluck (all to bring real food to share. Please do not bring donuts, cakes or other bakery items)
DIRECTION: from Columbus, Ohio: take I-71 north to the Polaris Exit (Exit #121). Turn right on Polaris Parkway. Turn left on Worthington Road. Turn left on Africa Road. Turn left on Lewis Center Road. Shelters are in the Below Dam Area.
Please bring enough food and drinks for your own family and to share with another family.
CAPA will provide: Reserved Shelter, chicken ready to grill, charcoal, ice, paper products, desserts, water and tea.
Food, games for the kids, cricket, soccer, socializing, and all the fun activities in the park

CAPA thanks and appreciate generous sponsorship the 22 host families that made the 2014 CAPA Eid Mela a big success. About 700 adults and kids enjoyed the free food, games, activities, socializing and company of their friends. Kudos to the organizing group. We thank the community who participated and looking forward to families to become a host family in 2015.
