The Ohio State University Cricket Club is proud to present

OSUCC Indoor Tennis Ball Challenge 2015

The tournament will be played on February 7th, 11:30 AM to 10 PM at the Adventure Recreation Center at The Ohio State University
    1. February 7th, 2015, 11:30 AM start (Registration deadline is Saturday, January 31st).
  • Address: 855 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, OH 43210
  • Registration fee:$100
  • Prize:  $250 for Grand Prize, $150 for Runners-up, Trophies for First and Second Place
  • 7 members on a team, can submit roster of 10 people.
  • Each team guaranteed minimum 2 league, 5 overs per side.
    1. Heavy tennis balls used, on indoor turf field
  • Drinks will be provided to the teams throughout the day
To Register:
    1. Registration is $100 per team. All teams MUST pay by Saturday, January 31stTo pay, please send $100 via Chase QuickPay to

We estimated between 55-60 guests but according to final numbers, it was attended by 70 guests. The food was delicious, plenty and enjoyable. CAPA subsidized each member’s lunch cost about $8.00. We have received many positive comments from our patrons. On behalf of CAPA EC & BOT, I thank to all CAPA members for making every CAPA event a success.

Time: 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM
Arrangement: Buffet lunch with appetizer of Golgappas (pani puri), a variety of halal meat (chicken & goat), daal & vegetables dishes, and tea
CAPA members Special Price: $ 6.00 per person only (kids under 6 free)
Non-members price: $11.00 plus tax and gratuity (approximately $13.50) per person

Announcement of 2014 CAPA Computer Workshops
CAPA-OH will be conducting a series of basic and intermediate level workshops on computer software as per following schedule. Each workshop will be administered by a professional who has more than 20-year experience of giving training seminars on computer programs.
Sunday, October 19, 2014, 2:00 – 4:00 PM — Microsoft Word. Live Email, Gmail (Open to all)*
Sunday, October 26, 2014, 2:00 – 4:00 PM — Microsoft Excel, Web browsing using IE, Chrome, and Firefox*
Sunday, November 9, 2014, 2:00 – 4:00 PM — Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Drive, One Drive, Cloud sharing*

Cost: Free to CAPA and APPNA member families only, unless noted otherwise*.
Location: Days Inn North, 1212 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43229 (small conference room)
Age: All age groups are welcome
Prerequisite: All workshops will be conducted on computers running Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 8.1; participants are supposed to have basic knowledge of using computer OS, keyboard & mouse; bring your own laptop with Microsoft Office 2013, and current versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox already running on it as no software will be distributed in the workshop; information may be provided on downloading free software;  
Room Setup: Classroom style, Coed, mixed gathering
Course Contents: Overview of basic functionality of each program, interactive, open workshop with Q&A; some handouts will be provided
